  • DAY 2 Bled

    Bled's tranquil mountain setting is an ideal place for a full day of mountain biking.

    Head out along quiet country roads and cycle between villages in the area and cut through forest trails to get a feel for the Slovenian countryside.

    Starting out from the banks of Lake Bled, ride up to a scenic hilltop of Sv. Katarina before going downhill on a singletrack route towards the Vintgar Gorge. Bike near a picturesque lake before ascending up to a breathtaking viewpoint with astonishing vistas of Lake Bled and the Julian Alps.

  • DAY 3 Bled

    Raft the waters of the Gorenjska region on a full-day rafting excursion. Start with a few easier rapids to get used to the water before a more challenging end to the day.

    After a safety briefing, head out on the water for a full-day rafting trip. The majority of the rapids here are grade 2/3, so this route provides a great introduction to rafting for those who have not tried it before. Stop to admire the views along the river as it cuts through the canyons and valleys of the Julian Alps, but make sure to concentrate on the river as you raft. (Breakfast)

    Enjoy a free day to explore this picturesque town. There are a wide variety of walking and cycling trails around town and a myriad of optional activities.

    Make use of the unique landscape around Bled today by canyoneering through rivers and ravines. Later, zipline through the trees and over the valleys of the Julian Alps.

    Don a wetsuit and head down river, scrambling, swimming, and floating along the current and past the rocks that line the river. This is one of the most exhilarating activities that can be done on the river -- it will take your breath away.

  • DAY 6 Bled

    Spend the day inside the mountains on a caving expedition. The natural beauty of the caves inside the Julian Alps gives a different perspective on the landscape, and a morning exploring this underground system is an ideal way to see the scenery.

    Pick up the gear and, following a safety briefing, dive down into the Julian Alps. The first thing that is noticeable is the cold from the rock, but with a flashlight to pick out the route, it's fun to squeeze between the rocks and slide down over them into the darkness. Emerge at the end of the activity into the daylight, and return to Bled. (Breakfast)

  • DAY 7 Bled

    Famous as a resort for mountaineering, the region around the Julian Alps is perfect for hiking. Follow one of several trails that lead toward Mt Lipanca, covered in pine forest jutting through the jagged rocks, and soak in spectacular views across the Alps from the Mountainside.
