    Tonight, the adventure begins. Feel free to explore - but make sure you're back in time to meet your group. After introductions, your CEO will review the details of your trip. (None (Meals on your own))

  • DAY 2 Havana/Santa Clara

    Visit three key historical sites, including the famous Che monument.

    Head east along the Carretera Central to the city of Santa Clara, a key location in the history of the Revolution. On the way into town, visit three key historical sites, including the massive Che monument (Santa Clara is also the final resting place of Che Guevara) and the Marta Abreu monument, before settling in for the night.

    Che Monument Visit

    Set eyes on a 6.7m (22ft) bronze statue of Ernesto 'Che' Guevara standing tall atop a mausoleum erected to mark the 20th anniversary of Guevara's murder in Bolivia. Tour the mausoleum lit by an eternal flame ignited by Fidel Castro. Visit the adjacent museum, containing a number of exhibit pieces ranging from medical materials to Guevara's pistol, and photographs that include pictures from his childhood. (Breakfast)

  • DAY 3 Santa Clara/Trinidad

    Enjoy an orientation walk then opt to take salsa dancing lessons, hit the beach or catch some live music.

    Travel south through the beautiful Topes de Collantes region to the coastal city and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Trinidad.

    Enjoy an orientation walk of the area to get your general bearings with free time to wander the cobblestoned streets, shop, and experience the great music scene that has made this city famous.

    Loosen up those hips and get ready to salsa. Classes are led by expert Cuban instructors and you even get your own practice partner. Rumba, mambo and cha-cha-cha your way across the floor. Never danced salsa? Have no fear, Cubans are happy to share the secrets behind one of their national pastimes.

    Grab your bathing suit and go for a refreshing swim. (Breakfast)

  • DAY 4 Trinidad

    Spend a day exploring. Opt to hike in nearby Topes de Collantes National Park or visit Ancon Beach for diving, snorkelling or lounging.

    For outdoor enthusiasts, Trinidad is a haven for horseback riding or bicycle riding (no typical mountain bikes though!). If a beach is in the cards, try snorkelling or diving in nearby Playa Ancon.

    Orientation walk and boat tour around the Bay of Cienfuegos. Opt to visit the Palacio del Valle building, the botanical gardens or relax on the beach.

    Travel along the coast to Cienfuegos, a delightful and interesting city with a history largely different to that of the rest of the country.

    Enjoy an included boat ride around the Bay of Cienfuegos, which is nearly 90 sq km.

    Head out on the water for some fresh sea air and sail across the magnificent Cienfuegos pocket Bay. Admire the contrasts of the city's architecture, the locals hanging out by the sea wall known as the Malecon, and cruise the interior cays to see Jagua Castillo protecting the bay. (Breakfast)

    Palacio del Valle Building Visit

    Visit the Palacio del Valle, an architectural jewel and pride of Cienfuegos. Absorb the beauty of its various influences: Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque, and Medujar - that somehow combine to resemble a Moroccan kasbah. Built in 1917, this ornate structure was once a private residence (and a wedding gift), and now serves as a restaurant.

    Botanical Gardens Visit

    Tour one of the most famous botanical gardens in the country, home to more than 2000 tropical and sub-tropical plants. See an impressive collection of plant species, including various types of palm trees indigenous to Cuba. (Breakfast)

  • DAY 7 Cienfuegos/Havana

    Head back to the capital city and take a walking tour of Old Havana.

    Opt for one final night on the town.

    Take a walking tour of Havana and find out what your CEO loves best about this amazing city. See city highlights that may include La Catedral de San Cristobal de La Habana, the Palacio de los Marqueses de Aguas Claras (which now houses a restaurant), the Museo de Arte Colonial and the Plaza de Armas, with its statue of Manuel de Cespedes (one of the leaders of the Cuban independence movement). Use this walk as a jumping off point to explore the rest of this lively city. (Breakfast)
