    The adventure begins tonight. Feel free to explore, but make sure you're back in time to meet the group. After introductions, your CEO will review the details of your tour. (None (Meals on your own))

  • DAY 2 Alice Springs/Uluru

    Depart early and travel to the West MacDonnell Ranges and walk to the Ellery Creek Big Hole and Ochre Pits. Return to Alice Springs for lunch before travelling to Uluru to catch the sunset.

    Depart early for the West MacDonnell Ranges and take two optional walks to see the brightly coloured Ochre Pits and for a swim in the Ellery Creek Big Hole.

    Return to Alice Springs midday before continuing on to the Yulara campground for the night.

    From late October - early March, if the temperature is forecasted to be 35 Degree C or above we will be following the summer itinerary and visiting the West MacDonnell Ranges instead of Kings Canyon.

    Ochre Pits Walk
    West MacDonnell National Park
    After a short walk, arrive at a valley painted in multi-coloured layers of rock. The different colours of ochre were historically used by Aborigines for ceremonies and trading, and still shimmer in the sunlight to this day.

    Ellery Creek Big Hole Visit

    The mighty Ellery Creek cuts a river through the West MacDonnell Ranges, and has carved out a stunning waterhole over thousands of years. Take the short walk to the waters edge and jump in to beat the heat!

  • DAY 3 Uluru

    Visit an Aboriginal cultural centre and enjoy the informative Mala Walk at Uluru. Catch the sunset over Uluru before heading to the campground for the night. Camp under the stars of the night sky-the only way to really experience the Outback.

    Visit the Aboriginal Cultural Centre to get a better understanding of the area before embarking on the Mala Walk around part of the base of Uluru (Ayers Rock). Learn the significance behind this iconic destination for the local people.

    Experience the colourful sunset at Uluru, while enjoying a glass of bubbly. Marvel at the night sky while bunking down in a swag (canvas bedroll) for the night.

    Enjoy a glass of bubbly, and watch the setting sun transform Uluru into a glowing monolith bathed in deep reds and oranges. Capture the moment with your camera but also take a moment to soak in the serenity of the scene just with your own eyes. Magic!

    Walk along the northwest side of Uluru with your CEO to learn about the history of the area, stories of the Anangu people and these awe-inspiring uplifted sandstone rock formations.

    Aboriginal Cultural Centre Visit
    Learn about the Aboriginal culture in the area to get a better perspective of the history, beliefs and present-day life of the Anangu people. Discover the wild world of bush tucker (indigenous food), find out which plants are used in bush medicine, and hear stories from the Dreaming.

  • DAY 4 Uluru/Coober Pedy

    Cross the Outback on a rugged track to Coober Pedy, the world's opal mining capital. After a guided tour of a mine, escape the heat like the locals by spending the night underground.

    Travel across the Outback to the unique opal mining town of Coober Pedy, where people live underground to avoid the heat. A guided mine tour gives insight to the mining process and then importance of opal to the area.

  • DAY 5 Coober Pedy/William Creek

    Travel along the Old Ghan Railway route-the Oodnadatta Track. Cross the dingo fence and stop to explore a number of historic settler sites along the way. Opt to take a scenic flight over Lake Eyre.

    We follow the Oodnadatta Track, strewn with ruins of failed early settler activity, along the route of the equally unsuccessful original Ghan Railway route. We cross the dingo fence and stop to explore a number of historic settler sites along the way.

  • DAY 6 William Creek/Beltana

    Marvel at ruins of early settler sites. Experience a one-of-a-kind overnight stay at a historic sheep station.

    View the salt lake of Lake Eyre. Learn about the European history of the region before settling into the historic Beltana Sheep Station.

  • DAY 7 Beltana/Adelaide

    Drive through the Flinders Ranges, stopping for photos, before a wine tasting in the Clare Valley.

    Depart Beltana and take one of the gorges into the Flinders Ranges, stopping to absorb the magnificent views along the drive.

    Travel through the Clare Valley wine area, making a stop for a wine tasting and demonstration to learn about the development of the vineyards in the area. Arrive in Adelaide, known as the 'city of churches'.

    Stop by a local winery and sample some of the different grape varietals while learning a bit more about wine production and its history in the Clare Valley.
